Best Instant medu vada bread recipe or medu vada bread recipe with step by step. This instant recipe is shared by my aunt and she taught me how to make instant medu vada. Medu vada bread are crispy donuts made from bread and rice flour and served with sambar or chutney, especially coconut chutney.

In fact, I wanted medu vada for my Sunday breakfast, but at the same time, I didn’t want to go through the hassle of preparing the traditional urad dal medu vada. At the same time, there were few breads left and I intended to finish it. Therefore, I decided to prepare these instant medu vada, which are not only easy to prepare, but also delicious and tasty. also, the rest of the ingredients are almost the same.

Ingredients required to make best instant medu vada bread recipe

For four persons

7-8 slices bread

2 tablespoons semolina

2 tablespoons curd

2-3 boiled potatoes ( optional)

One chopped big onion

One grated carrot

One teaspoon Ginger paste

Salt according to taste

Black pepper

Roasted jeera powder

Chaat masala

Red chilli powder according to taste

Green chillies

Pinch of meetha soda

Instruction to make best instant medu vada bread recipe

Grind bread in mixer or break it manually till it looks like crumbs then add semolina, curd, veggies and spices properly n add some green chillies ( optional), pinch of meetha soda and make a soft dough and divide it in equal portions and give shape of medu vada and roast it in pan for 20-25 in medium-low flame. Now serve it with green chutney and tomato sauce or According to your taste.

Notes:

  • to make it softer, add a pinch of baking soda.
  • if the dough is sticky, grease the palm of your hand with oil and create round tondi
  •  if the dough becomes watery, then do not panic, add more rice and rava flour
  • if you don’t like spiciness, you can skip the chillies.
  • alternatively you can add vegetables of your choice to make them healthier. like pieces of coconut, grated carrot, mint etc.
